"When we bought our house the HIPS survey identified the best thing we could do in terms of our energy usage was to install PV panels to compliment the existing Solar Water Heating system, already in place on the roof.

AmberVert were very helpful in answering all our questions regarding the options, installation and benefits of PV. The work was carried out within two weeks of our first contact. It was done with no disruption to the household what-so-ever.

The technicians were very friendly and polite to us and our children, and also the neighbours when they needed to access the side of their property to site the scaffold platform. The panels were mounted discretely and they nicely compliment the existing water heating system. The internal electronic work is all contained in the loft apart from the meter which has been fitted discretely adjacent to our fuse panel. The equipment we opted for included a Bluetooth monitor which displays our panels production in real time and historically, and shows the savings in terms of money and Co2.

We are using this alongside the energy meter from our energy supplier to keep a track of our consumption vs. production and we are adapting in small ways to make the most of the new resource! The productivity stats are keeping me entertained and I'm looking forward to my next electricity bill! The long guarantee period is very reassuring, as is the added selling feature for the house should we ever decide to move.

I would just like to record my thanks to the team at Ambervert for such great service once we had decided to go ahead and install solar PV panels back in August. The installation work went very smoothly and the team were a pleasure to have around while this work was undertaken. In the weeks following the installation we experienced some problems on certain days where our local electricity grid voltage rose above the threshold for the operation of the PV panels. Mark was able to follow this through and get authorisation from the electricity provider to adjust our cut-off threshold to allow for this local variation. Since then the incidence of these events has been practically zero, and we are now experiencing levels of electricity generation that seem to be exceeding the predictions.
